I absolutely love this Bible app. I have two other Bible apps, however I use this one when I am studying because of all the resources that come with the app.

MacArthurs notes are invaluable

I use an iPad with no cellular power and this is a good app for a NASB bible while not on WiFi.

App is fast and efficient when displaying Scripture and J-Macs Notes. Now also has NAS translation as well as ESV...job well done.

I honestly bought this app because I thought some basic features like split screen (bible/commentary) and the ability to copy a verse were table stakes for bible apps. I was wrong. :-( While Johns notes are great, this app is at best clunky to use. The ESV bible app is much more functional.

Great way to start your day!

So easy to refer to Johns notes, helps to better understand the context. Features allow quick bookmarks, highlighting, reference to similar scripture, etc.... The audio option is nice as well. I use it when Im driving.

I noticed that some where having issues creating an account and logging in with the app, I also experienced this problem on my iPad mini with the latest iOS. I went to the Grace to You website in google chrome and created my account. I went back to my iPad and still couldnt login. I picked up my iPhone and tried with it. It worked. Went back to my iPad and it allowed me to login. I purchased the notes from the App Store on my iPhone and they work perfectly on my iPad. So far I couldnt be more pleased. Im back after many hours of flawless use and couldnt be happier. Hard to believe all these resources are free.

1. Night mode doesnt work. It darkens but you cant see all the text 2. It crashed when I downloaded the NASB bible.

Half of 2 Samuel Chapter 20, Verse 1 is missing in the NASB version.

This is an excellent app for anyone who desires to truly understand and apply the Word of GOD to their lives. I highly recommend it.

This is a must have Study Bible app. Not only do you have the option to access John MacArthurs Study Notes, they are continually updating the app (for the better). The recently added ESV version and devotionals are great upgrades. I would highly recommend this app.

I love this app and its endless resources. Please continue to improve the sharing functionality as well as the notetaking. Look toward other successful Bible apps like Youversion. John MacArthurs knowledge with that type of functionality would be amazing.

I really enjoy having the study bible on my phone but my history is erased daily and I am not erasing it. :(. Please fix that as I use that to revisit scriptures we have discussed or that I want to do some more reading on.

This app is great!

Deeply appreciate the willingness of Grace to You to provide us with a way to have the Study Bible with us wherever we go. The app is still in process and each update provides more helps for Bible reading & Bible study. Definitely recommend this app to any true believer & follower of Jesus Christ.

Coupled with Johns notes and links to past sermons and blogs, one cant get any closer to understanding the Truth.

This app is a real blessing to me.

This has all you need to dig deep into THE WORD. So filled with a huge library of resources. Just wish it had a concordance.

I do so hope youre working on these bugs. Its much harder for me to read the paper edition. My iPhone and iPad have the most recent IOS versions, and plenty of memory, so I dont see how it can just be me with all these problems. Its discouraging. 1. New problem. 6/8/16 The previous history and the history that I had this morning has disappeared. 6/9/16 The history that I had last night is gone. My history section is completely empty. Its empty every time I open the app. 2. The bookmarks still wont stay deleted. 3. It still freezes up when I scroll as Im reading, then jumps to the end of the bible. 4. When I highlight a verse, then go back, it doesnt go back to that verse. It goes way back to where I started reading. An example: I started reading Acts 2, then went to Deuteronomy chapter 7, highlighted a verse in Deut 8, then hit "<" and it jumped back to Acts 2. It seems to jump back to where it was when I opened the app.
