I experienced the same crashing effects. ...until I deleted the app from my iPhone and reinstalled it from the App Store. All is back to normal again. I hope this helps others.

Even though the new version is not working well at all (hopefully it will get fixed soon) I absolutely love this app. I love that for only a few dollars you can have access to all this great content. I also love that it shows you all available resources from GTY for a particular scripture passage. Really awesome.

I really like this online Bible. Easy to maneuver around and if you get the optional MacArthur notes and commentary for $5.99 it truly is a valuable resource. Highly recommend

New update crashes after opening.

The depth of functionality of this app is amazing!! You can do in-depth threads of study from one point and get back to your point of origin. Having the study notes, the sermons, and all the cross-references is amazing. Purchasing the MacArthur Bible notes is definitely worth it!!!

Love this app but right now it wont let me even open it. Please fix soon. When I can use it, the app is definitely a 5 star.

I have always enjoyed John MacArthur messages and study notes. I especially enjoy the quality of audio, this is a very good app.

I absolutely love this study bible & use it everyday!! Johns notes have been so helpful & have given me a much greater understanding of what Im reading! The only thing I might change is the lighting in the notes section....its a little hard to read because of the darker background. Id also love to have a KJV version along with the ESV & NASB, but overall, its a wonderful study bible! I just have to say how thankful I am for Pastor MacArthur & everyone at Grace To You....I listen to Pastor MacArthurs sermons everyday on the GTY app, read the study bible & also listen to the radio program when I can. It has made a huge difference in my walk with the Lord! May God continue to bless your ministry.

Just got the app but have had the JMA Study Bible for a dozen years and the notes are excellent!

This is one of the most reliable biblical apps I have ever used.

Excellent study help

I purchased the in app "Johns Notes" and it really is a great teaching mechanism that is put together for use with the word. The bible has been studied by many and to read a verse and then have the ability to dive in deeper into the meaning of what was going on at that time or events occurring at that time, make it come to life. Great tool for learning and teaching!

I love that the John MacArthur Study Bible is available as an app! I use it every day for my bible study of Gods holy Word. I purchased the study notes, which is a must and so reasonably priced. It is amazing that when you are on the app you have access to so much material such as Q&As, blogs, and every sermon that John MacArthur has ever preached. I truly love that when you highlight a verse it brings up so much extra material for the in depth study on that particular passage of scripture. Also check out the Grace to You app. It has every one of MacArthurs sermons archived and fully searchable. It also has so many more wonderful resources. Id say more, but I need to get started on my bible study now! :)

Wonderful App . Next best to The Reformation Bible App .

This used to be great. Now it keeps on crashing every time I open it. Cant use it anymore. I even paid for this. Disappointing.
